The Ting Tings – ‘Do It Again’ | New Music

The Ting Tings made a true demonstration this summer of how making a return looks! They created a fan friendly disco anthem “Wrong Club” that got both critics and pop lovers from UK to the States buzzed about the future. They even got the ultimate critic on their side with Perez Hilton saying how the duo had

“gone super disco and it’s glorious”.

Perez Hilton’s opinions may not always be of the majority vote, but in this case you have to agree, as The Ting Tings are staying true to their ultimate return, and proving they can DO IT AGAIN with the drop of another smash pop tune entitled “Do It Again”, which will be available to download from Monday September 22nd.

“Do It Again” is the perfect follow up single as it comes with heavy riffs, and an overall euphoric effect leaving the listener captivated and on an all round high! Which ultimately is what the song is about, as Jules and Katie explain,

“it’s about the need to do something wrong again, and not being lazy… needing to lighten up, stop the paralysis of criticism, just doing anything that makes you feel good“,

And boy this song is a true testament to the themes of the track, because as the audience, the effect is utter brilliance!

The duo have also been announced as the headline act at the Oxjam launch party at London’s Shoreditch Town Hall on September 29th, and are also delighted to confirm that they will be touring this November starting in Brighton on November 23rd, then touring to Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, finishing in Portsmouth on November 30th. These are the band’s first full shows in three years, and I cannot wait to get involved! Welcome back Jules and Katie…
